Siapakah Maher Zain ?
Maher Zain adalah penyanyi R&B Swedia, penulis lagu dan produser musik asal Lebanon lahir 16 Maret 1981. Dia juga tinggal untuk sementara di Amerika Serikat. Album debutnya berjudul Thank You Allah, dengan 13 lagu dan dua lagu bonus dirilis pada 1 November 2009, dengan Versi Perkusi eksklusif dan Versi Perancis dirilis tak lama kemudian.
Ia membawa nafas baru dalam dunia musik dengan mengusung nafas Islami dalam balutan nuansa modern yang catchy, namun menghanyutkan. Selain bernyanyi bahasa Inggris, Maher Zain juga biasa bernyanyi dalam bahasa Perancis, Arab, Urdu, Turki ataupun Melayu.
Maher Zain juga membawa misi dalam musiknya untuk menghibur dan menginspirasi banyak orang, sekaligus membawa pesan perdamaian dan harapan untuk dunia.
Sampai saat artikel ini ditulis video klip Insha Allah meraih sembilan juta lebih penonton di YouTube dan dibuat empat versi yaitu bahasa Inggris, Prancis, Turki, dan Arab. Sedangkan klip terbaru The Chosen One meraih dua juta penonton di YouTube. Maher Zain adalah artis muslim pertama yang meraih satu juta fans di Facebook dalam waktu satu tahun sejak album debutnya dirilis.
